that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing;
but that it should be holy and without blemish. Eph. 5:27 AKJV

BIBLICAL POINT 17:
God promised to be with Israel if they complied with certain conditions. Likewise with us all, He is a Covenant God and this ethos needs to be understood and run through all the activity of The Bible College of Wales Ministries, it being the role of Ministers to be aware of this, and ensure the Membership fully embraces this Biblical Demand.
In the New Testament this includes the “all in it together culture” of the Early Church, not only having a covenant culture with God but also with each other as one in God, that is having an open, transparent and honest relationship with each other, the path of true holiness.

Introduction ……….
The whole ethos of Biblical Government is that this is ON HIS SHOULDERS, not ours, that there be plurality of ministries in the form of the Ascension Ministries overseeing and ministering into Church fellowships around the World.
CHURCH GOVERNMENT IS ABOUT HIM – NOT US!
Colossians 1:18 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

These Ascension Ministries are not static but mobile, working with elders and deacons as empty vessels administrating the local Church. There may be a Presiding Elder who opens up in relation to the hearts of the deaconate and eldership in plurality.
There are no titles but recognized activities,
all being equal in the Royal Priesthood of Believers, joint heirs with Christ.
There is no such thing as a local Church Pastor in the New Testament, no such thing as priesthood and laity but a glorious son-ship in Christ Jesus, the Body of Christ being perfected through the Ascension Ministries working closely with elders and deacons.
1 Peter 2:9 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Romans 8:12-14 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
What there is - recognised ordination when the Ascension Ministries come together as one and recognize in Jesus Name the Minister through whom the Lord Jesus is manifest, this is the ordination of the Lord, it being HIM and HIM ALONE revered through the empty vessel. It is this that gives us the term “Reverend” – not self-achievement but the recognition of “Him” through us – yet not us BUT HIM – the faith required being “his faith” – not ours! This is the dynamic of ministry.
Galatians 2:20 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
John 17:21 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
21 that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
1 John 4:17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
John 15:16 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:
that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Acts 1:21-22 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 beginning from the baptism of John,
unto that same day that he was taken up from us,
must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
Acts 14:23 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
Romans 13:1 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.
For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
1 Corinthians 9:14 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they
which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
Titus 1:5 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
5 For this cause left I thee in Crete,
that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting,
and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
John 14:11-14 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:
or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
BIBLICAL POINT 1:
CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF BEING THE GOVERNMENT
Isaiah 9:6-7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,
upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom,
to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice
from henceforth even for ever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Acts 14:23 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
1 Timothy 3:8 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
1 Peter 2:9 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Romans 8:17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
The Ministers role is to bring the conditions for individuals to hear from God themselves, maintain peace and harmony in the camp with an expectant ear to the voice of God to bring direction.
It is therefore the role of the Ascension Ministries working with the elders and deacons to ensure that all the Body be in the liberty of the Spirit, in study of the Word of God, in prayer meetings and Bible Study being perfected for the work of the ministry, a Body of Equals hearing from the Spirit to fulfil the Every Creature Call.
BIBLICAL POINT 2: THE WIDER MINISTRIES
The Biblical Ministries set in the Body to watch over the Church and perfect the saints are Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. It is therefore the responsibility of these ministries to ensure the unity of the Body, to ensure that only the scriptures of the Antioch line are preached, to expose any infiltrations, to protect the flock and also ensure that national governments of Christian heritage countries maintain their Constitutions, and those who are not hear the glorious Gospel of Christ Jesus.
For example, in Great Britain, all laws have to be led constitutionally by the Spirit of God, foreign laws and philosophies imposed on us here being illegal, the Monarch as Head of State on oath to uphold the laws of God and the Protestant Reformed Religion Established by law.
It is our role in the Ascension Ministries to bring this situation to pass, as with Moses, David and Solomon so it is the role of the Ascension Ministries to insist on God’s will to be upheld – not the philosophies of man and foreign powers, this Godly example flowing with common wealth throughout the countries of the Commonwealth.
Ephesians 4:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
-
Their responsibilities of these Ministries are as follows …….
Ephesians 4:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
-
These Ministries Operate until a certain point is reached
Ephesians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
-
As a result of these ministries, the following occurs:
Ephesians 4:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
BIBLICAL POINT 3:
THE LOCAL CHURCH MINISTRIES
This is the Oversight God has appointed for the local church? Despite modern culture and tradition, there is no example in the New Testament of a Pastor leading a local Church, the truly Constituted Church having elders and deacons in plurality. Here the Ascension Ministries ensure that not one man or woman leads a Church, but that there be a plurality of equals through God can speak and direct, the Ascension Ministries ensuring the freedom in Christ of the Body, the removal of Jezebel and Absalom, to bring protection and the unity of the Body.
Acts 14:21-23 King James Version (KJV)
21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,
22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
-
The four responsibilities of the elders are to be on guard for the flock, to shepherd the flock, to watch over the flock and give an account for their souls:
Acts 20:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Hebrews 13:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
-
As watchmen of the flock of God, the elders are to see the sword coming and warn the people …….
Ezekiel 33:2-7 King James Version (KJV)
2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
-
If the watchman fail to warn the people, these watchmen are responsible ……
Ezekiel 33:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
-
If the people under the oversight of an elder refuse to take warning from their elder, it is those who refuse to listen who are responsible?
Ezekiel 33:4-5 King James Version (KJV)
4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
-
In light of this, members of the body are exhorted to ….
Hebrews 13:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
1 Peter 5:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
-
Jesus taught that the attitude of those who are appointed as overseers in the church must be different from the attitude of the heathen.
Matthew 20:25-28 King James Version (KJV)
25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
-
The Toleration of Jezebel
Revelation 2:20 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
It is therefore the role of the Ascension Ministries in the Bible College Wales to ensure that no one lords it over others or exercises authority over them, the Minister being a servant to all not seeking to be served but to serve other even to the point of being prepared to give one’s life for another.
BIBLICAL POINT 4:
Ensuring the Right Attitudes in the Local Church as depicted through the Apostolic Ministry of Peter
1 Peter 5:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.
We are to ensure therefore that Elders should always desire the will of God to be done, and not lord it over others, but be an example to the believers.
BIBLICAL POINT 5:
It is the role of the Bible College Wales Ascension Ministers to ensure that the attitude of the Scribes and Pharisees does not manifest in our Assemblies, but rather the heart of our Saviour himself.

Matthew 23:1-12 King James Version (KJV)
Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Here we learn that teaching the law but not obeying it is not acceptable, seeking the honour of man above obeying God is also not acceptable, it being Christ Jesus himself, the fullness of the Godhead bodily being seen as pre-eminent, Leader and Teacher, it being understood that the Elder is a servant in an atmosphere of equal brethren love.
BIBLICAL POINT 6:
In the context of bringing discipline, the Ascension Ministries, the eldership and deaconate are to be guided of the Holy Ghost in Biblical principle.
Deuteronomy 17:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
It is therefore the activity of Ministers to ensure that in the mouth of 2 to 3 witnesses that every fact be confirmed, there being safety in the plurality of ministers.
Proverbs 11:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
BIBLICAL POINT 7:
It is the role of Ministers to ensure there be the right attitude towards those teaching or leading the Body in the ways of God.
Hebrews 13:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
BIBLICAL POINT 8:
It is the Role of the Ascension Ministries to ensure the principles of Jesus Parable of the Good Shepherd are paramount in the Local Church.

Matthew 18:12-14 King James Version (KJV)
12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
The Biblical Shepherd searches for the one sheep gone astray, so is to be in our Assemblies.
BIBLICAL POINT 9:
After teaching the Parable of the Lost Sheep, Jesus applied the principle to those going astray within the Church.

This is therefore our procedure for such an occasion.
Matthew 18:15-17 King James Version (KJV)
15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
We therefore go to a brother who has sinned and reprove him, if he refuses to listen we take 1 or 2 with us, on him still refusing to listen it is taken to the Church, and on still refusing to listen he is then removed from the Assembly as a heathen and publican.
BIBLICAL POINT 10: Accusations Against Elders
1 Timothy 5:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
It is therefore the procedure of the Bible College Wales not to receive an accusation against an elder unless there are 2 or 3 witnesses.
BIBLICAL POINT 11:
In Relation to Free Will Restoration, what is the ministry to do?

Galatians 6:1 King James Version (KJV)
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

It is clear that the ministry must restore in a spirit of meekness and humility, considering oneself in relation to the temptations we all go through.

BIBLICAL POINT 12:
The Dealing of Sin and Evil in the Church must be dealt with, for if it is not, it can filter the whole lump. We therefore purge out the old leaven.

1 Corinthians 5:1-6 King James Version (KJV)
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
1 Corinthians 5:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
BIBLICAL POINT 13:
With whom the Church Membership Associates needs to be Monitored……….
1 Corinthians 5:10-11 King James Version (KJV)
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
It is therefore vital for those in the ministry to avoid associations as clearly shown in the scripture.
BIBLICAL POINT 14:
Treatment of Certain Parts of the Membership, relating to elders, young men, older women, and young women in the Church?

It is therefore to be the practice within the ministry to treat elders with double honour, younger men as brethren, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters with all purity.
It is to be noticed here the emphasis on those who “labour in the word and doctrine!
1 Timothy 5:1-2 & 17 King James Version (KJV)
Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
BIBLICAL POINT 15:
Biblical Procedure as to whom the Ministry is to Judge and to who God Judges!
1 Corinthians 5:12-13 King James Version (KJV)
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
The Biblical principle therefore is to judge those in the Church and leave the sinners outside to God, removing those who refuse to repent from their wickedness, Jesus instruction being clear as to how we are to react.
1 Corinthians 5:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
Matthew 5:29-30 King James Version (KJV)
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Important to read the following as introduction to the coming points …….
Joshua 7 King James Version (KJV)
But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the Lord was kindled against the children of Israel.
2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.
3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.
4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.
5 And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.
6 And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the Lord until the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.
7 And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord God, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
8 O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!
9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?
10 And the Lord said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?
11 Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.
13 Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.
14 In the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which the Lord taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the Lord shall take shall come by households; and the household which the Lord shall take shall come man by man.
15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.
16 So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:
17 And he brought the family of Judah; and he took the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:
18 And he brought his household man by man; and Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.
19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.
20 And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it.
23 And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the Lord.
24 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the Lord shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
BIBLICAL POINT 16:
What happened to the Israelites when they went up against Ai?
Joshua 7:4-5 King James Version (KJV)
4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.
5 And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.
A covenantal breach had taken place, the children of Israel had broken covenant with God and in these days of multi faith pressures, whilst it is right we should express our faith in open dialogue, any attempt to syncretise our faith by any minister will be rejected by Bible College Wales, any attempt for multi faith worship will be rejected by Bible College Wales and should the nation even attempt to multi faith our Protestant Constitution Acts, then it will be the duty of ministers of the Bible College Wales to bring the nation to account at the risk of bring smote of an enemy.
In this case Israel fled and 36 men were killed. In a nuclear armed World it is vital for Church and Nation to be one in God and this revelation needs to be grasped and understood by all members and ministers.

Joshua 7:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
It is clear Israel had sinned as it is also clear that nations throughout the world are being ravaged by sins before God. It is the role of our ministry to point out and expose the sin and bring nations to repentance. This has to be an overwhelming passion in our ministry for placating and accepting sin is not acceptable. We pointing all this out in all humility and humbleness.
BIBLICAL POINT 17:
God promised to be with Israel if they complied with certain conditions. Likewise with us all, He is a Covenant God and this ethos needs to be understood and run through all the activity of Bible College Wales Ministries, it being the role of Ministers to be aware of this, and ensure the Membership fully embraces this Biblical Demand.
In the New Testament this includes the “all in it together culture” of the Early Church, not only having a covenant culture with God but also with each other as one in God, that is having an open, transparent and honest relationship with each other, the path of true holiness.
Joshua 7:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.
Acts 2:43-45 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Acts 5:1-5 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 and kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
Our role is to ensure that holiness and purity in all humility runs through our ministry removing that which offends God, this requires an openness one to another, no secret agendas to enable us not only to remain pure in our ministry but to bring nations to account.
The consequences of failure are serious but in Christ Jesus we are more than conquerors, on hearing his voice of direction and going forward we can move on in power, might and dominion, it is the rear-guard here that needs protecting ensuring all are moving on together, not allowing the enemy of souls to come in at the rear-gate. We are to be weak, yet strong in God.
It is therefore our demand that there be watchmen who watch and protect the flock and this will be carefully monitored.
Joshua 7:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.
BIBLICAL POINT 18:
BIBLICAL CORRECTION AND DISCIPLINE
Hebrews 12: 5-8 King James Version (KJV)
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
This correction and discipline is directed to “my son” meaning us the believer whether it be Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, Elder, Deacon or whoever – it is addressed to the sons of God and to whom the Lord loveth, which is why we are to treat each other with the greatest of humility and understanding, for on different occasions and at different times chastening can be a process a believer is going through. Note ALL ARE PARTAKERS of it is with the heart of humility and humbleness that we all stand before each other.
The reason this occurs is because he loves us, loves us so much that his will and desire for us is that we should partake his holiness. This is a work of God and we all have to understand and recognise this and hold each other’s hand.
Indeed we are to confess faults one to another, on this occurring from the heart, alongside the Lord’s chastening then revival will come.
Hebrews 12:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
James 5:16 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
It is to be recognized by us all that through times of chastening, it most certainly not a pleasant time but brings about a peaceable spirit, one at peace with God, one who has entered his rest, the true spiritual Sabbath of peace.
From here comes the peaceable fruit of righteousness
Hebrews 12:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Hebrews 12:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
BIBLICAL POINT 19:
NOT BECOMING WORN OUT AS A MINISTER, working as a team together.
The following Old Testament example shows how Moses learnt to delegate, particularly at times of growth. Captains in the Old Testament context were appointed as God has appointed the Ascension Ministries - overseeing, counselling, giving the heart of God, there being Biblical Qualifications from the Old Testament scriptures that relate perfectly into the New Testament context in relation to those who are called.
These clearly show that those appointed need to be ongoing students of the Word knowing the statutes, laws and ways of God, those who fear God, those who are of truth, those who hate dishonest gain, those of wisdom, those who discern and are of experience.
Deuteronomy 1:9-15 King James Version (KJV)
9 And I spake unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:
10 The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
11 (The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)
12 How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?
13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
14 And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.
15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
Exodus 18:13-18 King James Version (KJV)
13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.
14 And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?
15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:
16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
17 And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.
18 Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.
Exodus 18:19-21 King James Version (KJV)
19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:
20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
Deuteronomy 1:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
BIBLICAL POINT 20:
HOW ISSUES ARE TO BE JUDGED
It is clear from the scriptures that minor issues are settled on the ground through deacons and elders with the Ascension Ministries here represented in Old Testament terms by the Prophet, it being interesting to note from the Old Testament the plurality of government showing here – “let them” being plural, there being rulers rather than a ruler, the major disputes coming unto Moses.
Ultimate judgments are to be made by God through the given vessel at a given time, there being no partiality, and the voice of God must be heard. Unlike an earthly court, the judgment is not of the outward appearance but of the heart, the spirit, in righteousness and purity.
Exodus 18:22 King James Version (KJV)
22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.
Exodus 18:22-26 King James Version (KJV)
22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.
23 If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.
25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
Deuteronomy 1:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
Isaiah 11:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
2 Corinthians 10:7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.
2 Corinthians 3:6 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
6 who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
BIBLICAL POINT 21:
THOSE QUALIFIED IN THE JUDGING PROCESS
There are clear qualifications for those in the judging process of bishops (presiding elders), and elders – the principle applying too to all ministries.
Such a person is blameless, husband of one wife, temperate, sober minded, of good behaviour, hospitable, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous, one who rules his own house well which means by the spirit, children being in submission with a good testimony.
In addition such a man is not puffed up with pride, a key element of Christian Ministry.
It is clear too that involved in this are deacons, remembering that scripturally there is the scriptural example of a deaconess but in this role of judging the deaconess cannot take part in this with the Biblical sensitivity of the usurping of authority of not being permitted, but likewise the suppression of women’s ministry is not permitted either as this would be quenching the Spirit as the Spirit fell on all flesh for empowerment for ministry. This is a role statement, not one of superiority.
We also have the example of Priscilla bringing correction to the Alexandrian preacher in her Ascension Ministry role and so we place these qualifications within the context of local Church operation, for matters can then be taken to the Ascension Ministries in which women are included in the context of giving correction, and even in the area of judgment, a women as a prophetess is no lesser being than a man, Deborah being a judge over Israel.
The qualifications of a deacon therefore is to be reverent and not double tongued, not given to much wine and not greedy for money. A particular role here is given for the deacon to hold the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience, there being testing after which the deacon being found blameless having a wife that is reverent, there being no place for slanderers at all, thee being a demand for soberness and faithfulness in all things.
The husband is to have one wife ruling children and their houses well.
There is also the Biblical example of servants of the Lord who instruct others who must not quarrel but are gentle and able to teach and be patient, indeed bring those being instructed to repentance within the context of knowing the truth. Within this context there is no issue with the ministry of women here, women too having a particular role in counselling.
1 Timothy 3:1-7 King James Version (KJV)
This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
I Timothy 3:8-12 King James Version (KJV)
8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
Judges 4:4 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
Judges 5:7-15 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
7 The inhabitants of the villages ceased,
they ceased in Israel,
until that I Deborah arose,
that I arose a mother in Israel.
8 They chose new gods;
then was war in the gates:
was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
9 My heart is toward the governors of Israel,
that offered themselves willingly among the people.
Bless ye the Lord.
10 Speak, ye that ride on white asses,
ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
11 They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water,
there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the Lord,
even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel:
then shall the people of the Lord go down to the gates.
12 Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song:
arise, Barak,
and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
13 Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people:
the Lord made me have dominion over the mighty.
14 Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek;
after thee, Benjamin, among thy people;
out of Machir came down governors,
and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
15 And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah;
even Issachar, and also Barak:
he was sent on foot into the valley.
For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
2 Timothy 2:24-25 King James Version (KJV)
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
Titus 2:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
BIBLICAL POINT 22:
THE OVERCOMING OF PRIDE – the Ministers Big Enemy.
Referring to our pre-born again state in verse 1 William R Newell in the hymn titled At Calvary contrasts the years of vanity and pride to the present believers state of having given Jesus everything.
Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary.
Refrain
Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary.
By God’s Word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary.
Refrain
Now I’ve given to Jesus everything,
Now I gladly own Him as my king,
Now my raptured soul can only sing of Calvary!
Refrain
Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!
Refrain
These truly given of the Spirit words clearly show the dangers of pride. Indeed, the Apostle Paul was given a “thorn in the flesh”, a messenger from Satan to prevent him from being puffed up.
2 Corinthians 12:7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
Colossians 1:18 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
It is therefore clear that together as a ministry we need to understand what those who receive revelation go through. There is clearly a price to be paid and those receiving revelation needed to be loved, understood and protected, ensuring that the humility, the humbleness, the exalting of the name of Jesus be given priority in all things.
BIBLICAL POINT 23:
The Preservation of the Scriptures Emanating from Antioch
It is agreed in the ministry that only scriptures of the Antioch line may be taught or preached, unless it is in the context of exposing the Alexandrian line.
not
not
BIBLICAL POINT 24:
The Ministry through Women
Part 3 of the Ministers Manual Biblically deals with this issue, by scripture pointing out that the ministry and ordination of women is to be encouraged in specific roles, any suppression of this being seen as a quenching of the Spirit as the Spirit fell on “all flesh,” there being neither “male or female” in Christ Jesus.
John 17:21 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
21 that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Acts 2:17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
1 Thessalonians 5:19 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
19 Quench not the Spirit.
Galatians 3:28 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
All scripture must be read in context and in the understanding of the whole canon. This being the case we can confidently keep to the Pauline text and fully embrace ministry through women.
Romans 16 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: 2 that ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also. 3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus: 4 who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. 5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epænetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ. 6 Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us. 7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. 8 Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord. 9 Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved. 10 Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus’ household. 11 Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord. 12 Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord. 13 Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine. 14 Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them. 15 Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them. 16 Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
21 Timotheus my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you. 22 I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord. 23 Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother. 24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 but now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: 27 to God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
Written to the Romans from Corinthus, and sent by Phebe servant of the church at Cenchrea.
In referring to no less than TEN WOMEN MINISTERS Paul is clearly showing his attitude to ministry through women, his epistle to Corinth referring to particular issues with “your women” as he put it; I Corinthians 14:34. It is clear from the tone here that the women were ministering who he had or is ministering with, the Holy Ghost clearly working through them, and to quench this would not be quenching women primarily but God.
It is therefore the Biblical policy of Bible College Wales to fully embrace God’s ministry through women recognizing injunctions made in I Corinthians: 34-35 & I Timothy 2:12 were within the context of badly behaved women in Corinth, keeping in order women who were disruptive, for we find throughout the Pauline scriptures a full embracing by Paul of what God was doing through women, and likewise today we are to embrace this ministry as Paul did.
BIBLICAL POINT 25:
Word from God factor –
Prophets subject to the prophets – the Habakkuk understanding
It is common practice in fellowships for ministers and members to receive “words from God.” All “words” however are subject to the prophets, all words having their timing of application, the applying of wisdom in the situation being seen as priority in application.
1 Corinthians 14:32 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
Habakkuk 2:1-3 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower,
and will watch to see what he will say unto me,
and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the Lord answered me, and said,
Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,
that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time,
but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:
though it tarry, wait for it;
because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Proverbs 4:7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding.
BIBLICAL POINT 26
Funding of the Ascension Ministries, the local assembly, the media outreach and the College training programme

We cover this Biblical Point 26 by declaring initially what we are not to do, and follow it up Biblically by what we are.

Part 1: What we are not to do …….

We are not to fall into the trap of preaching, teaching and offering encouragement in relation to the gaining of material wealth.

Certain “prosperity scriptures” are commonly given in relation to receiving returns from offerings, indeed even resulting in various tricks being played so as to “up the offering”. This is strictly forbidden in the ministries of the Bible College Wales, however we are to encourage giving within a certain context.

Indeed there is an obligation on us all to come together having “all things in common,” keeping assurances and clearly in the context of covenant responding at times of need.
Matthew 6:19 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Acts 4:32 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
Matthew 19:21 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Luke 12:33 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
Mark 10:23-26 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
Mark 10:28 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
Acts 3:6 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Part 2: Within the context of ministry and eldership, in practice today there are those who “give up all” to follow Jesus, and those who give tithes and offerings.
Both positions are Biblically Correct and need to be open to the Spirit moving amidst Ministers and Membership.
This is a very important responsibility that has to be taken seriously, as this is a covenantal obligation.
For those who “give up all” to follow him there is the hundred fold return, within the context of receiving resource in abundance to fulfil the call, in the appointed time, once the vision has been written, once the watch has been established.
Mark 10:28-31 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 but he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that arefirst shall be last; and the last first.
It has to be recognized the level of commitment required here, that persecutions come to those of this commitment, even to the point of attempts of others to interfere with this dedication, however, the heart of God is being manifest here, complete trust in God, a complete threat to the enemy of souls, a complete reliance on the Spirit of God with the covenant level and responsibility of all involved in this dynamic needs firmly to be recognized.
The Giving of Tithes and Offerings
It needs to be noted that this is hardly a request but a demand on the believer to give both tithes and offerings. The tithe is part of the Covenant Meal, the Table of the Lord and part of the Abrahamic Covenant and not part of the Law. The tithe as part of the covenant meal cannot be disannulled, Jesus being of the line of Melchizedek. The Abrahamic Covenant therefore is 430 years before the law and is an all-time covenant, there being this obligation on the believer to fulfil, else as in New Testament terms literally give up all in the context of Mark 10.
Genesis 14:18-20 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 20 and blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
Hebrews 6:20 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
20 whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Galatians 3:16-18 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave itto Abraham by promise.
The giving of offerings is one that needs to be encouraged too, for this relates the heart of God to give, to give in abundance and cheerfully, the gain returned being to further the cause of the Gospel, the believer being the empty vessel giving as the Spirit leads, the “ye” here having resources returned to give again not for personal gain for we are not our own but for the purposes of God.
It is the life of the believer that in all things Christ must have the pre-eminence, all things including our natural resources for the Gospel of God, the giving needing to occur cheerfully.
Luke 6:38 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
38 give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
1 Corinthians 6:17-20 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
2 Corinthians 9:7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Colossians 1:18 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Finally, the Storehouse and what it means ……
This is the house of resource, the funding of the Every Creature Commission that involves full dedication, full passion, perfecting the saints for the work of the ministry, one of sacrifice and devotion else we are robbing God by holding on to resource which is so desperately used to save sinners from hell, for what gain is it for man to not sacrifice, to not give his life for others for what Christ gave we are to give also.
Indeed as Great Britain sent out its missionaries so our nation was blessed, by those who were not only prepared to give their natural resource, but also their lives? As Christ gave, so must we.
Malachi 3:1-12 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: 3 and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. 4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts. 6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be roomenough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.
1 John 4:17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
